How to keep score/stats for soccer?
Posted under soccer stats
Recently Ive been asked to keep stats for my schools soccer team. However Im a little confused as to how to do it considering theres more than just writing down who got a goal and what not. Long explanations would be nice, and whoever can give me the most details will get 10 points.
Thank you so much!

For soccer you are going to want to write down different stats such as goals, min. played (stopwatch will be helpful), saves by the goalie (so tally every save he/she makes) and finally assists (this can get difficult but whoever makes the direct pass or cross to the player who scores the goal gets the assist.) Soccer you dont have to worry to mucha bout stats

You may have to record shots ‘at goal’ and ‘on goal’. this is probably the most confusing. shots at goal is a shot taken that goes anywhere but within the frame of the goal. a shot ‘on goal’ is only within the fram of the goal- usually the goalie will end up with the ball when the shot is at goal, unless the attacking team scored. it is also on gaol if it hits either goal post(parallel uprights) or cross bar(bar across the top).
