Soccer Highlights: Jacob Weaver U15-U16

Jacob Weaver in his freshman and sophomore years playing varsity soccer for Northwest Christian (Colbert, WA) and for U16-94 Spokane Shadow, playing in the Washington RCL Premiere Division 1. Also included are some highlights from U15-94 Spokane Soccer Club Elite. Jacob finished his sophomore year at Northwest Christian leading his team with 20 goals and 2nd on his team with 11 assists. He was a 2nd team All-State selection, as his team qualified for the state quarterfinals.

    No , because every country has it’s style of play as to say. I didn’t mean that if he’s american that he is a less good player than european players cuz i have 3 americans in my team and they are beasts , well i didn’t see them play personally but my friends said that they are good. I think that the way a team plays depends on the coach and the football organization itself.

    Agreed about the european game. No question it’s more intense at nearly all levels. But is there something to be said for taking what the defense gives you? Look at Jacob’s U17 video, where the level of competition raises. He shows an adjustment to significantly better pressure. Not a true apples to apples comparison, but the only way to do that is go play against european players, right?
