What a stupid …
What a stupid argument. What’s unpredictable about a goal being given when it didn’t cross the line or vice-versa other than whether the ref decides to call it or not? If a play is close enough to a goal, they should be able to review it to make sure they make the right call because goals are so important in every single game. How often do plays like that even happen, maybe once a game if that? So the flow of the game wouldn’t be interrupted constantly.

Matt Pickens …
Matt Pickens deserves to play on a winner with an actual defense. His first few saves of the game could all be save of the week nominees, and his third save on Lenhart should win easily. He also defended that last breakaway really well, and didn’t touch Gordon but the ref gave a penalty. He’s quickly becoming one of my favorite goalkeepers in the league.

It was a soft penalty but, alas, it happens. Its always a call until your team is the one awarded the pk! San jose is doing more with less money, and on a College campus, than most teams. Their victory over la a few weeks ago is one of the Games of the year. Love this team.
