Sir Jack Hayward, Luther Blissett: talk Bahamas Soccer Camp
Grand Bahama Island – On location at the Freeport Football Rugby Camp, the Premier League once again makes this summer camp possible for almost two hundred children. The camp caters to boys and girls ages six to sixteen years. Many local coaches assist with the program, which runs from Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm.
The Bahamas Weekly News Team, along with Coach Robbin bring you interviews from Sir Jack Hayward, a major sponsor of the camp each year; Philip French, special advisor to the Ministry of Sport in the UK and camp coach; Luther Blissett, record goal-scoring former England international player and camp coach; and Jamie Godbold, coach from the English Football Association and a talented current player who was the star in this year’s FA Vase cup competition at the world-famous Wembley Stadium in London. We also bring comments by some of the camp participants.
