Because that’s the format at the World Cup, basically the only event you would see this. Every country picks one table to be their home table and in order to win you have to win on both your table and the other country’s. In this case, the US uses the Tornado and the French selected the Bonzini. It levels the playing field and makes it more difficult because you have to dominate on 5 different tables to win.
