Yeah, they are in my opinion, but make sure you get ankle guards if you have weak ankles or you want to prevent future ankle injuries or at least lessen the damage that could be caused.

No, but people have …
No, but people have told me they’ve gotten blisters from them. So make sure the size you get is snug (not too tight, and not too loose). If it’s too tight, you’ll develop bunions, callus, and what not. I have bunions (first grade, it’s not bad as other people’s) on both my feet because when I was younger, my casual shoes were a tight fit. Try the shoes on first, in may be uncomfortable until you break them in.

The ones I got are …
The ones I got are medium sized. They’re for people who are 5’3″-5’7″. Even though I’m taller than that range, it still fits me. The sizes go as follows:
XS: 4’3″-4’7″
S: 4’7″-5’3″
M: 5’3″-5’7″
L: 5’7″-6’1″
XL: 6’1″-6’7″
