@c0dead actually there have been LOTS of games when one team scores the winning goal on the last second of the game.. so yeah, 5-10 seconds make a huge difference. You’re just mad because Mexico won even though they were losing 2-0. Like @ronaldo7x7 said, if he would have just given them the ball none of that would have happened. Just deal with it.

For instance, anyone can say anything they want to about Germany, and it would not arouse one bit of ire in me. That’s because I’m an American. Can others here say the same of their country of heritage? I will NEVER disrespect our flag or our language for the sake of Germany, and when I’m in another country, I NEVER disrespect theirs, nor will I expect them to do special things for me, like speak my language. It’s just common courtesy and mutual respect.

I’m of German heritage, yet I hold one single feeling for the place of my grandparents’ birth, because I realize that there was a reason why my grandparents left. That is what being American is about, to shuck off the old culture and assimilate into one American culture. It’s good to keep things like fajitas and hasenpfeffer (rabbit stew) for the taste, but not the overall culture. A hyphenated American is anything BUT an American.
