Is Spain the best in the world? I think so, they’ve proved it to us. Spain beat Germany in the Euro-Cup finals. Spain has the longest win streak in the world. Spain has not conceded a goal in the confederations cup. Spain has scored 8 goals in the confederations cup and is in first place in their barcket. Spain has some amazing players such as Torres, Fabergas, Xavi, and Villa for starters. Spain is a team with such a great precence on the field they score goals and their defence has steped up their game to a whole new level. Going into South Africa as a world power they will make it very very far if not win it. They are right now favored to win the World Cup in South Africa. Spain has become amazing ever since they won the Euro-Cup against Germany. Spain’s next oppenet is the United States. Which should be another win for Spain given the poor performance from the US’s quailyfing team. In simple words Spain is the best in the world at this moment.

How did the United States lose to Costa Rica? Well, the United States were playing horrible. Even though the United States doesn’t have the greatest World Cup qualiyfing team they could have still beat Costa Rica. A big win for Costa Rica but a horrible loss for the United States. Another loss for the United States was the Italy loss. The United States played a good game but Italy being the better team won the game.  A horrible call by the ref sent Ricardo Clark off…but what can you do? The United States lost in their first round in the group stage match of the Confederations Cup by not playing good soccer . Well, I don’t think South Africa will be very fun for the US, if they make it.

It's possibly lacking someone defensive muscle in the midfield (possibly Essien), but most of the forwards are versitile enough to change positions and they should easily score more than they conceed with that rock solid defense.

If i were to present this in a presentation, how can i describe China’s lack of success and development with soccer?

Why is it that soccer is such an unsuccessful sport in China? how come this world power that is china has failed repeatedly to win anything in the soccer world, AFC or even qualifying for the world cup? What is the current or past situation with the national squad in terms of their coach and team?

What can be done to increase the popularity and to influence the future of soccer within the chinese audience? What can the media and government do to help soccer become popular in China’s youth?

Why is it that China’s women’s team is better than the men’s team?

The chinese national team has been unsuccessful due to their lack of quality in their domestic leagues. Also, there have been some questionable managers on the team and the players on the team may not have been trained as well as they could be (lack of training at young age??). Also, china is a growing country that still needs time to settle so the chinese national team may not be as high of a priority at the moment.
